WordPress.com tip: Inserting Flash objects

For those of you who are WordPress.com bloggers (for those of you who aren’t, I recommend starting), you’ll know that WordPress restricts the code you can put in your posts and pages. That includes code for embedding general Flash objects.
If you can’t put embed code in posts, then how did you embed the Instant Nooooooooooooooo! button and the Xuite players? you may ask.

Well, what the WordPress.com docs don’t tell you is that there is a shortcode you can use: the gigya shortcode. I found out about it when I came across panos’ wordpress tips. I made use of two articles: Inserting Videos and Inserting Flash.

There are limitations, but it works well enough.
